November 2014 - The Marx Group submits comprehensive Public Disclosure Reports for the following Tenders: 1) Mining Agreements for Badakhshan, Balkab, Shaida and Zarkashan areas, 2) Cement Production Facilities, 3) Afghan-Tajik II Oil and Gas, 4) North Amu Darya Oil and Gas (Totimaidan). These reports provide the only comprehensive public record of the Tender proceedings. The Reports document the Afghan Government's adherence to Afghan Law and Regulations, Tender documents, and International Standards and Practices for Transparency and Fairness. March-November 2014 - The Marx Group works with the Afghanistan Ministry of Mines and Petroleum to complete open Tenders for Cement Production Facilities and Totimaidan Oil and Gas.

February-October 2014 - The Marx Group works with the Afghanistan Ministry of Mines and Petroleum to complete open Tenders for four Mining Agreements for Badakhshan, Balkab, Shaida and Zarkashan areas.

January 2014 - Office of Secretary of Defense Task Force for Business Stability and Operations selects The Marx Group to conduct the Independent Process and Transparency Review for the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan's Ministry of Mines and Petroleum Afghan-Tajik II Oil and Gas Tender. This Tender is restricted to Afghan companies.

December 2013 - Office of Secretary of Defense Task Force for Business Stability and Operations selects The Marx Group to conduct the Independent Process and Transparency Review for the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan's Ministry of Mines and Petroleum North Amu Darya Oil and Gas Tender.

October 2013 - Office of Secretary of Defense Task Force for Business Stability and Operations selects The Marx Group to conduct the Independent Process and Transparency Review for the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan's Ministry of Mines and Petroleum Cement Production Facilities Tender.

October 2013 - The Afghan Minister of Mines and Petroleum invites The Marx Group's International Transparency Advisors to speak at the award ceremony for the Afghan-Tajik Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Sharing Contract in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif. National and provincial leaders were presented with the results of a Transparency Review of the Tender. May 2013 - Results of The Marx Group's Independent Process and Transparency Review for the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan's Ministry of Mines' Amu Darya Oil Tender is featured in the May 2013 issue of Harpers Magazine.

February 2013 - The Marx Group concludes the Procurement Process and Transparency Review of the Amu Darya Exploration and Production Sharing Contract (EPSC) for the Amu Darya Petroleum Authority. The Report provides the Authority with a comprehensive management tool for assessment of the Contractor's compliance with Afghan Law, Hydrocarbons Regulations and the EPSC. And, it provides a solid baseline for ensuring improved regulatory and revenue management over the 25-year contract period.

October 2012 - Office of Secretary of Defense Task Force for Business Stability and Operations selects The Marx Group to conduct the Independent Procurement Process and Transparency Review for the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan's Ministry of Mines' Amu Darya Petroleum Authority (now Afghan Petroleum Authority). This project assesses the Amu Darya Contractor's compliance with contract requirements and international standards related to procurement.

August 2012 - Office of Secretary of Defense Task Force for Business Stability and Operations selects The Marx Group to conduct the Independent Process and Transparency Review for the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan's Ministry of Mines' Combined Mineral Tenders (Badakhashan, Balkhab, Shaida, Zarkashan). This project integrates international standards for transparency into the Ministry's minerals tenders.

July 2012 - Office of Secretary of Defense Task Force for Business Stability and Operations selects The Marx Group to conduct the Independent Process and Transparency Review for the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan's Ministry of Mines' Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Tender.

July 2012 - Office of Secretary of Defense Task Force for Business Stability and Operations selects The Marx Group to conduct the Independent Process and Transparency Review for the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan's Ministry of Mines' Afghan-Tajik Oil Tender. The Afghan-Tajik Oil Tender builds upon the successes of the Amu Darya Oil Tender in a much larger scale hydrocarbon project. The effort will continue building the Ministry's capability to conduct tenders that meet world-clsss transparency standards.

June 2012 - The Marx Group teamed with Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP (prime contractor), a New York-based international law firm, and aXseum Solutions LLC, a Washington DC-based small business to win the Office of Secretary of Defense Task Force for Business Stability and Operations' Legal Services Contract.

January 2012 - The Marx Group's Independent Process and Transparency Review for the Amu Darya Oil Tender is published on the Ministry of Mines website in conjunction with the award of the Exploration and Production Sharing Contract to CNPCIW, a China-Afghanistan joint venture company. The Marx Group documented more than 400 process steps in the tender process to provide a record of Minister Shahrani's transparency initiative while assisting in real-time efforts to improve transparency throughout the tender process. In contrast to Afghanistan's perception rating as one of the most corrupt nations as determined by Transparency International, the Amu Darya Oil Tender is a world-class model for fairness and transparency -- a testament to the commitment of H.E. Shahrani, Minister of Mines, and his professional staff, and with support from the Inter-Ministerial Commission.

 With Minister Shahrani The Marx Group executive consultants work closely with Minister Shahrani to implement his vision for resource tenders that meet international standards for transparency, fairness and accountability.

July 2011 - Office of Secretary of Defense Task Force for Business Stability and Operations selects The Marx Group to conduct an Independent Process and Transparency Review for the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan's Ministry of Mines' Amu Darya Oil Tender. The project assists the Ministry in developing processes and controls that integrate fairness and transparency into the oil tender, and documents the entire tender process. The independent review assesses the fairness and transparency of the subsequent Tender proceedings and is disseminated to the public by the Ministry at the completion of the Tender.
