The Management Team
Donald Marx, a professional engineer, is the founder and managing partner of The Marx Group LLC. He has more than 45 years experience in government and business. He is the former founder and chief executive of several high-tech start-up companies, and before that a successful executive in NYSE companies. As founder of FederalProposals.com, a solution design company, he has assisted Fortune 100 and mid-size companies obtain more than $10 billion in U.S. federal contracts. He has led the technical design of successful electronics products and holds five IT patents. Mr. Marx has assisted international companies to enter new markets. He is a disciplined process engineering professional with more that 25 years experience working with government agencies to improve acquisition. Mr. Marx works in the field with clients in developing countries. He is a former U.S. Air Force experimental test pilot. He is active in public service having served as the president of the Rotary Club of Washington DC, 2010-2011, and as a founder of the non-profit Kids Reading to Kids.

Joanne Satterfield, CPA, MBA, CFE, CIA, is a managing partner of The Marx Group LLC. Ms. Satterfield has developed, implemented and managed global internal audit and anti-fraud and anti-corruption programs in more than 30 countries, including compliance with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and standards such as the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and Sarbanes Oxley regulations. She is a leader in the development of global risk assessment technologies and practices. Ms. Satterfield is a certified environmental auditor, certified internal controls auditor and an expert in business process engineering. She has led global transparency and controls initiatives at Deloitte and at multi-national energy companies. Ms. Satterfield is active in public service in Rotary International and various charities.
